HAPPY CLIENTS
Only a phone call away "I’ve been growing commercial spuds (Innovators), and working with Cherry Hill Coolstores for over 20 years. I mainly deal with Conor and always have a great experience with him. There are never any real problems, and he is always available and just a phone call away."
Paul Kemp – Kempco Northwest Pty Ltd /Communicative and Transparent "Throughout my career in various parts of the agricultural industry, I have worked with Cherry Hill Coolstores for over 20 years and have dealt with the entire team in day-to-day operations. I have found them excellent to work with and highly committed to preventing any problems. If an issue does arise, they are always communicative and transparent. We have a strong team at Simplot and are proud of what we do, and the team at Cherry Hill continues to strengthen this working relationship."
Darren Briggs – Simplot Farming Operations Manager /Really great and flexible "My father, Gerard, founded our business around 35 years ago, by growing fresh produce. The farm is now run by myself and my sisters, and we’ve been working with Cherry Hill Coolstores for 11 years. I primarily collaborate with Wayne on seed-related matters. He’s a fantastic guy, knowledgeable, experienced, and knows everything like the back of his hand. For accounts and administration, I work closely with Conor and Iris. Overall, my experience with Cherry Hill has been fantastic. They’ve been incredibly flexible, especially during challenging times for farmers. Our family is particularly grateful for Cherry Hill’s support, as we’ve had several tough years with very wet conditions for seed growing in southern Tasmania."
Nathan Daly – Daly Farm /Fantastic to work with “We’ve been using Cherry Hill for their seed potato services for over 10 years. Their communication is outstanding and they are fantastic to work with, which is why we keep coming back.”

May he rest in peace
Darren joined us in December 2014 as our Maintenance Fitter, and was a beloved part of our team, until he passed away in 2021.
Darren ws a real asset to our team at Cherry Hill Coolstores and we miss him.
He was born in Devonport, and a local to our district, having grown up in the region, attending Reece High and gaining a trade as a Fitter and Machinist in the area.
“I did my apprenticeship at Simplot Australia but have had a few jobs since leaving school. I worked at Tas Belting Service and Supplies for four years, Wootton and Byrne Construction (construction and steel works) and I’ve worked on conveyor belts and as a forklift driver.”
Darren held a position with DPM Engineering for a while and helped build the Devonport Aquatic Centre. To us he was our all-rounder, in charge of all maintenance on site, seeing to equipment, belts, bearings, fitting and forklift driving.
Darren was also a handy all-rounder on the cricket pitch and played cricket locally in Sassafras. He loved being outdoors and in his spare time (when not hitting people for six) he enjoyed shooting, fishing and kayaking.
May he rest in peace.
